Okay, so after talking with Bjen Slocummaki (hahaha) at the WWR last weekend, I am again browsing various Desert Racing things. Tonight, at work, I have come across the TeamDust homepage while lokoing for T1 Silverado information.
TeamDust is a pair of brothers, from Canada I think, who bought a desert race LR Defender 110 (weird choice if you ask me) and ran the Baja 1000. And they finnished!
After reading the team Bio I see that they have no notable racing or competition exprerience. How fuckin crazy is that? and in a Defender!? A jeep cherokee shoudl be a breeze compared to running that beast.
Time to start raising money and building the truck. Like...yesterday.'
